Tia started her yoga journey at a very young age. As a student of yoga and dance, Tia relied on yoga to fuel her flexibility and strength in the dance studio. Yoga and creative movement are the foundation of Tia’s physical and mental well-being. Tia's wellness approach is to offer like-minded souls the opportunity to pursue their own inner peace while nourishing mind, body, and spirit, through movement. Tia invites and encourages students to explore their edge, lean into new possibilities, and release anything that no longer aligns with who they are or who they want to become. Tia enjoys guiding each student's journey by embracing connection and healing, where movement, community, and personal growth intersect on a path to lifelong peace and wellness.
Tia grew up dancing, graduated from the Dance Teachers Club of Boston Teacher Training Program, and went on to study dance at the University of Massachusetts, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Dance and Business. As a dance teacher, yoga has always been an integral modality and vital to her personal fitness, flexibility, mobility, and strength training. After attending her first yoga retreat in the Azores Portugal, Tia decided to take her yoga practice to the next level. She completed her 200 Hour RYT Yoga Teacher Training at CorePower Yoga in Austin, Texas specializing in Vinyasa. Tia also obtained her Acupressure and Yin Yoga Teacher Training certification at Frog Lotus Yoga International in Andalusia Spain, and her Sound Healing certification at Flow Yoga in Austin Texas. During her first yoga teacher training, Tia was captivated by yoga's rich history and philosophies, rooted in centuries of teachings. Tia is committed to a tireless pursuit of longevity through movement and continuing education.
