Shannon has been practicing yoga for 15 years and teaching for five. What first was a way to supplement her exercise routine and maintain flexibility became an integral part of her well being and lifestyle. When she was 21 years old she became extremely ill but found relief in yoga and was able to maintain her mental health through her practice. This experience taught her how powerful yoga truly is and since then she has wanted to bring yoga to others in order to help them learn and grow.
Shannon started out her yoga career by traveling around the world bringing affordable and accessible yoga to people in some unexpected places, including Tanzania, South Africa, The Philippines and India where she received her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. She then went on to teach in Melbourne, Australia where she lived from 2019 - 2020. Shannon teaches in order to prevent injury and provides various options for students of all levels. Her Vinyasa Flow classes incorporate traditional breath work and meditation practices that will leave you feeling invigorated and grounded.
